I've worked in the Seattle, Tacoma, Bellevue area for thirty years while packing a concealed Beretta 94. Never had a chance to display it or shoot a scumbag. Guess I'll have to move to the east coast for that.
Maybe the difference is that we allow concealed carry permits and a lot of Westerners do just that to keep things honest and help enforce the laws.

These rankings are always, and will always, be based on statistics. Anecdotal evidence will never be counted, no matter how many people say 'OMG Cincy?! 5 murders in 5 days!!!' it means nothing unless it's a very small town. The Cincinatti metro is pretty big, clearly, the crime per 100,000 residents is fairly low. Same with NYC. I'm sure there is a lot more crime there than in many cities, but it so huge and has so many people, per 100,000 it's very low.

Why the hell is Cincinnati and Cleveland on this list? Especially Cleveland. Cincinnati and Cleveland are one of the most dangerous cities in Ohio and the US. In Cincinnati last month, there were 5 murders in 5 days. And Cleveland is the 7th most dangerous city in the US. You are seriously trippin. You might as well put Detroit on the list too.
