ASHI, the American Society for Home Inspectors, has been in existance since 1976, and is the premier society for honest and ethical Home Inspectors. When buying a new home, make sure that you have the best inspector that you can find. To be a certified by ASHI, you need to attain a high level of training  and adhere to an ethical code than typically found.
