Wow, this is almost as expensive as midtown Manhattan. But for the landowner who was smart enough to hold on to it, congratulations. Another reason why eminent domain laws are so dangerous for the investor. They could have gotten the government to condemn it for their project at half the cost.
Vail Resorts said Monday one of its subsidiaries has acquired one acre in Vail for approximately $3.3 million.
