Atlanta Real Estate Agents Assaulted By “Professional Baseball Player”
A man posing as a “Professional Baseball Player” has assaulted 3 real estate agents in the past week in Metro Atlanta. Real estate agents have to be on guard whenever showing homes to potential clients as they are usually alone in an empty home. To know that there is a person out there stalking them should put real estate agents on their guard.
In the latest case, a female agent with Remax of Greater Atlanta became suspicious Monday after a man entered the office in Sandy Springs and said he was a baseball player and wanted her to show
him a home. She became suspicious and contacted a male agent. She says that’s when the potential client took off.In an earlier incident, an agent with another firm told police she had been abducted, robbed and assaulted by a man who claimed to play professional baseball.
In a third case, police say over the weekend a man who said he was a former baseball player also expressed interest in seeing homes for sale in Atlanta. via 13WMAZ.com
