Reeves Home Goes Up For Sale

ReeveshomeThe Pound Ridge, New York home of Christopher Reeves is going up for sale for 2.95 million. The property was  their primary family home. Christopher and Dana Reeves bought the home in 1992 brand new and have provided upgrades throughout.

Needless to say the property was bought before Christopher Reeves accident, but has been set up to be fully handicap accessible for those needing those features.

The Westchester home of late golden couple Christopher Reeve and his wife, Dana, has just gone on the market. The three-level, 16-room mansion on just more than 3 private acres in Pound Ridge has an asking price of $2.95 million.
Reeve bought the shingle-style home on Great Hill Farms Road after it was built in 1992. It features seven bedrooms, 5 1/2 baths, a gourmet country kitchen, gym, movie theater, game room, two offices, servants’ quarters, high-tech wiring and a generator system.
“Dana decorated the home beautifully,” said a neighbor. “It was bright, cheerful and elegant.”
The grounds include a manicured lawn with specimen trees and water views, but no pool or tennis court.  via New York Post Online Edition
