La Belle Golf Club on the Market for 4 Million
If you ever wanted to own your own golf course, today may be your lucky day. One of the oldest courses in the country, the La Belle Golf Club, is going on the market for 4 million dollars. The combination of a declining membership and increasing debt has persuaded the membership to sell the historic club.
So get out your checkbook and have your own 18 hole course. Never have to wait for a tee time or get frustrated waiting to play a shot. Heck, how some real estate has appreciated in the past few years, condos cost more than the course.
The 110-year-old, 18-hole golf course is located on 128 acres on the north end of Lac La Belle. Declining membership in the private club and rising debt are the chief reasons the club’s directors want to sell the club, said Gary Murray, a real estate broker with First Weber Group, Delafield.
