Why You Do Not Want To Get Tenants Really Really Mad

The Concord City Place Development in Toronto has a very irate tenant that is being ignored. The buildings owners and management company have played hot potato with this tenant so much that the tenant has now created a web site that is exposing all the faults of the facility.
The lesson, you have to deal with every customer properly. Property management companies can not drop the ball and expect that the word will not get out. The internet gives voice to everyone, and they will raise their voice loudly if treated wrong.
The lackluster security has proven disastrous for some unlucky City Place residents. Several people tied up, robbed and beaten. How did the criminals get in? According to official statements posted in the elevators at City Place the assailants used City Place FOB’s. They wont fill anyone in but they are sure trying to convince everyone nothing is up. I wont go on about it but am posting several media links so the savvy reader can see for themselves. One thing I do want to point out; when you move into CityPlace they request you sign a document relieving them of responsibility for unlawful entry or lost packages (they accept all packages at front desk). They have a master key and said keys are located at front desk. They actually ask everyone to sign a paper that says they are not responsible for unlawful entry to your suite with their master key! (lots of interesting links)

Now the question that needs to be answered, when this topic is the top post on google for City Place Toronto, are they going to fix the issue? I have the distinct feeling they will.

Comment by Toronto tenants associations on 26 October 2006:
You don’t want to get tenant organizers mad either.
Look what Federation of Metro Toronto Tenants Associations lawyer Marcia Barry did to another tenant activist she didn’t like using the internet!
