I don’t know how many layers you’ve got or anything, but an ‘expert’ wallpaper stripper gave me advice last year and I followed it and it was easy. Don’t use any chemicals, dish detergent or any of those other ‘tricks’. Get a spray bottle, fill it with hot water. Spray the paper (or the backing) if you have already taken off the paper, and leave it for a few minutes (determine how long by testing it to see if the paper is easily removable). Use scraper to remove the paper. Easy.

Thanks for the advice. We went with a steamer and it wasn’t that bad. The only problem was where it was glued on … that was work.
