Johnny Carson’s Malibu Home Sells For 38 Million
The former home of late night host Johnny Carson has sold for a reported 38 million dollars. The buyer is a self reported fan of the Tonight Show host. Carson’s Malibu compound included a 7 thousand square foot main house and a twenty seven hundred square foot guest house.
Johnny Carson’s Malibu home of more than two decades has been sold for $38 million.
The former “Tonight Show” host, who died in 2005 at age 79, bought the home on Point Dume in late 1984 for nearly its $9.5-million asking price, including furnishings.
Carson’s widow, Alexis, sold the house to a buyer described as a fan of Carson’s from the East Coast.
The estate, on slightly more than 4 acres, includes a 7,000-square-foot-plus main house, a 2,700-square-foot guesthouse and a tennis court. via Los Angeles Times

Guess Alexis doubled here inheritance. Lucky lady, all for chatting up a property guard, who let he wander the Carson property. He saw Alexis walk by and went out the meet her.
