She is the Oprah of the Design TV, Garden, Weddings, and now the Oprah of housing?!?! I envision people merely hearing her name and flocking like fluffy, blind sheep- she got people to buy curtain rods in KMART for God's sake (did you hear me? KMART!!!). Desert or no desert, her stamp on it forecasts success. As for me, I think I'll stick to my Ryland in Austin (I have grass, trees, nearby shopping, and a 50% price reduction because Martha Stewart didn't design my interior) :) Good luck, LA!
