Could you imagine showing homes and driving down the main street and seeing a senior citizen walking down the city just wearing a fanny pack? That was what happened in Brattleboro, Vermont this past week. They have had a casual approach to nudity in this city but I guess this goes against the pale.
After years of allowing public nudity, the town famous for its strip-and-let-strip attitude is considering banning it in parts of town, saying naked notoriety has begun drawing people here and is offending locals.
According to ABC News, Brattleboro’s Select Board is planning to ban nudity in certain parts of the town on Tuesday. One board member, Dick DeGray, says of walking around town naked: “Just because you can doesn’t mean you should.”
“You can’t go into a store and buy an adult magazine until you’re 18, and yet you can walk down the street in Vermont and see naked people. There’s something wrong with that picture.” via The Post Chronicle.

To each their own, I imagine.
