Considering the cost difference between advertising in newspapers and online it is amazing how slow the homebuilders were as a group to embrace the Internet. The Yahoo deal was a no brainer for both parties.

Technology is moving faster than reality.. so, why not keep up? Using the Internet to market homebuilder listings is far more of an advantage, and less hassle. For those interested in buying brand new homes or condos before they hit the market, we offer the largest coming soon and just released new home resource for locating and purchasing a new home or condo the moment it's released for sale.
Jane

I am not anti newspaper, I grew up reading 2 every day (Newsday and the New York Times). But I also recognize that their day has passed and that there is a whole generation in the work force that will never buy another newspaper again.

When that occurs it is crazy to play ostrich. You have to address the change in landscape and plan accordingly.

For the real estate agents that have spent marketing dollars knowing that they will be wasted on newspaper marketing to satisfy their clients I have pity. The rules of the game have changed and the sooner that the players in the real estate world adjust, the sooner that marketing of homes will be more efficient.

I do not hate newspapers, but for me to let my personal feelings keep from stating the truth of the marketplace is crazy.

You're very anti newspaper, but provide no logical reason for it. Why do you feel the way you do?
