What Celebrity Would You Want as a Neighbor?
ERA Real Estate polled a thousand 50 and over homeowners in their annual home ownership survey and one of the questions they asked was which celebrity they would like as a neighbor.
The winner was golfer Tiger Woods coming in at 24 percent of the respondents. I know my Dad, who is an avid golfer, would probably have voted that way. Of course, seeing the alternatives, Barney may have been a good alternative.
Second place in the survey was Regis Philbin and third was Ellen DeGeneres (15 and 14 percent respectively). Could you imagine having either of these narcissistic chatterbox’s as neighbors? Ugh.
Teri Hatcher took 4th place at 8 percent, but the big loser in the poll was James Gandolfini who came in last for the second year in a row. I guess the allure of having an actor who played a mobster nearby extends just as far as the remote control. Either that, or people have already seen how he gets his morning paper and are not thrilled with the image.
