Definitely not close to being the worst. The real estate opportunities there are fantastic. Some areas of the city are very, very expensive. And the prices are going up fast. Actually, some parts are amongst the most expensive in Africa. And all this not considering the current boom the city is facing, since all the oil company HQs are moving from the unstable oil cities, to Lagos. Imagine renting a decent condo at 100,000$ a year... What you will have in Lagos: Good restaurant, decent lifestyle, huge business opportunities (besides those fake phone calls you get of course), decent nightlife, and very cosmopolitan city! The main downside: Security. But this should improve in the coming month, and many people live with it no problem. Lagos is a decent city to live in. Definitely not close to being the worst.
