Frightworld in Buffalo, New York – Number 7 of Top 10 Haunted Houses in America

In our post last year we featured the Top 10 Haunted Houses in America just before Halloween. This year we will count down and feature each one of these haunted homes every day in anticipation of Halloween.

FrightWorld, billed as Buffalo’s biggest, scariest screampark has grown like gangbusters since arriving on the scene in 2002. The transition from tents to the Eastern Hills Mall now to the old Sym’s Building and now the The Garden Village Plaza in Cheektowaga, their growth has be stratopheric.

With 5 complete and ever changing houses in the FrightWorld complex thrill seekers will never be bored. Here is how FrightWorld is described on their MySpace page.

Once you enter the realm of Frightworld, you will undergo hours of terrifying fear. Although you want to run, you need to take the time to stop and admire the grotesqueness of every distinctly different room. From the House of the Dead, with its hair-raising corridors, to the Castle of Fear, which contains many sinister secrets, or maybe you prefer a more welcoming CARNEvil in 3D, freakshow-extraordinaire with its own type of amusement, Frightworld caters to fear of every kind. via MySpace

Frightworld is located in the GARDEN VILLAGE PLAZA at 2343 UNION ROAD, CHEEKTOWAGA NEW YORK. Here is a Google Map. Tickets are 20 dollars for the 5 house ticket and discounts can be had if you buy them at a local NOCO.
