New Advancements in Internet Video From RexNet - Smith’s Landing at Virginia Tech
If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!
If you are looking for ideas on how effective video for selling real estate is, take a look at this excellent example created by RexNet for Smith’s Landing, a apartment complex just off the Virginia Tech campus in Blacksburg, Virginia.
You may recognize the guy in the photo. He is Bruce Smith a partner in the venture and also a former football star at Virginia Tech and Pro Bowl defensive end with the Buffalo Bills and the Washington Redskins. Click on the image (or here) to watch the video.
Check out the production quality aimed at the college student. While selling into a senior community would not be the most effective strategy with internet video, selling to the college student is about as dead on as you can get. If you are looking at doing internet video, this video could serve as a primer for you.

Hey, Tom.
Norvell Rose here, Founder, CEO and Video Producer/Director for RexNet. Thanks for the great post! We’re very excited about this breakthrough project with pro football legend and real estate developer Bruce Smith. As you wrote, this is a great example of how professional production standards and style can be used to drive home a powerful message in a powerful medium.
If all goes as we, Bruce and his partners predict, we’ll be producing a monthly video update to keep the Smith’s Landing project energized. Stay tuned!
Best,
Norvell

Tom,
Great article. I have to say that the quality is unmatched. I found a few things out for myself today besides the article highlights above. First, I have a very addictive personality (I learned that one early on), but when paired with these two producers and a camera, I want more, more, more. If I could wake up and do what I rushed through today, every day…sign me up. My video isn’t even finished yet and I’ve already went through withdrawal.

The quality shown in this spot is exceptional! We are also working with RexNet and they are great to work with. I would recommend them to anyone working towards the next level of excellence for sales and marketing.

Great post. The plug for the video company was good, but more important that type of housing is always important.

This was a great video. My wife and I did 5 videos the other day and Norvell and Ethan are true professionals and one can easily see that they love what they do!

“On The Cutting Edge Of Today’s Marketplace” is our motto and REXNET is definitely on the “Edge” of what is ahead! The quality is outstanding! Norvell & Ethan can definitely set the stage for success with the process. Getting our message out through video is such a time saver!

Great quality and aimed right at their target audience. I like the plug about the hotel for the parents too.
Think we’ll be seeing more use of videos in the real estate industry as time goes on. Thanks for bringing this to everyone’s attention.
