Tommy,

I have tried to contact the Independent Journal (Gannet) and clue them in on blog networks, Pat Kitano's posit and reality reshaping brokerages in 2008, and blogging in general. I even have appeared at two speaking events featuring IJ journalists and my words fell on deaf ears.

The funny reality is that this tiny hyper local newspaper is shrinking in size and readership while quickly incorporating blogs into their reporting.
