A weak dollar, a soft market, and snow bunnies is a great combination for a couple of Phoenix real estate agents. They got away from the water cooler complaining about the slow market, headed up to Winnipeg and put on a seminar on buying housing in Phoenix.
And guess what, they have a raft of potential buyers in a weak market! Of course this can not be surprising when it is January in Canada and the idea of an Arizona vacation home has been a dream for many. Olson and Steve Lauritano of Arizona Pro Realty, Inc. in Phoenix said they were expecting 60 people to attend their free seminar Thursday night. They got more than 300.
