Qik.com For Realtors – Live Streaming Video From Your Phone

I just came across Qik.com and have not played with it yet, but it could be a great tool for real estate agents showing a home recently on the market to a prospective buyer.

What Qik.com offers according to their web page is:

With Qik you can stream engaging video live from your phone to the world or use your phone like a camcorder to capture entertaining, interesting and special moments. Go LIVE with your life by streaming anytime, anywhere — right from your phone. Be an eyewitness, capture those first steps, or whip up your own streaming video blog. There are just a million and one uses of Qik.

Let me know if you have played with this new program and your results with it. I really think that it could be a powerful tool for Realtors interacting with buyers.

  1. I have been hearing about these such features. Also sending txt messages to the Realtor.

  2. there’s certainly a lot of gizmos out there isn’t there – finding what works, and what’s easy to use is perhaps the biggest challenge. Think about the time we waste trying to get our “gadgets” to function. And just when we get them figured out, something new is brought on the market..we buy it…and there we go again…head scratching our evening’s away while we set-up our latest gizmo :)
