They got me reduced for 2008 in Alameda in the appeals process and saved me $507 on my tax bill! They worked it out with county, I didn't have to do ANYTHING. I don't know how to get comparables and do adjustments... Have you ever been to an appeals hearing? I went and saw all that goes on and all that's involved and signed up the next day. So they are a legit company. Maybe you're just impatient... Hang in there... And maybe don't change your mind at the drop of a hat.

Yes, this company Property Tax Adjusters, Inc. is a scam. They sent unsolicited mails to the home owners collecting a fee of $125 in the Silicon Valley (depends on where you live). Their return mail envelope looks exactly like from the county assessor’s office. They immediately cashed my check and before any work could start they said they would not refund my money even I don’t need their “service”. They will never refund you and county offers property reassessment for FREE. I lost $125. But I filed complaint to the Federal Trade Commission. I suggest people who are victims of this scam do the same, use the online media and blogs to alert other people.

WATCH OUT THIS COMPANY!
