Blogging Is Hard Some Days

BloggingSomeDays

Don’t you feel this way? I know I do.

I try to do 3 posts a day during the week, more or less on the weekends (typically less unless it is raining). But if you are wanting to build a readership, blogging with regularity is very important.

Face it, would you go to your local coffee shop not every morning if you did not know if they would be open or not? I wouldn’t.

So what do you do when you have nothing to say?

When you ask that question, it is already too late.

My advice, be like a Boy Scout. Be Prepared.

Go and write a few posts on one of those days that there is a million things to write about.

  • Those that are timely, put up.
  • Those that have a long life, put in your saved file.

Then when you have a million things to do you can grab a post that was written before hand and put it up.

(This post was written Friday, May 23rd at 10 AM. I have set it up to post in Wordpress using the timestamp on Sunday. Now I can sleep an extra few minutes without guilt.)

  1. Thanks for the post. I myself find that on somedays writing becomes very easy and I have 20 plus topics and impotant info I want to write about. On these days I try and write for several hours and try to get up 3-4 posts.
