50-Cents-House-Before-FireThe Dix Hills home of Rap star 50 Cent burned down in what investigators have deemed suspicious. The home was being lived in by Curtis Jackson’s (50 Cent’s real name) former girlfriend, his 10 year old son, and her family.

What has raised the concern of investigators was that earlier this week a violent discussion broke out during a hearing over a 50 million dollar lawsuit the former longtime girlfriend was bringing against 50 Cent.

The Dix Hills home, a 5,200 square foot mansion was valued at over 2.4 million dollars, was being hotly contested in the battle between Tomkins and Jackson. While 50 Cent was in Louisiana filming a movie, his ex girlfriend points the finger right in his direction.

50-cents-house-after-fire“He tried to kill me and his own child,” said Shaniqua Tompkins, 31, who miraculously survived the suspicious 4 a.m. blaze, which leveled the $2.4 million mansion in tony Dix Hills, where she lives with the rapper’s 10-year-old son Marquise and four relatives.
The blaze erupted after Tompkins and 50 Cent — whose real name is Curtis Jackson — got into a violent dispute Monday during a deposition in a $50 million lawsuit she is bringing against him.
“Who do I think did it? Curtis Jackson,” Tompkins told The Post. “He threatened me on Monday that he was going to have someone visit me. My kids are in the house. Who would try to kill your own kids? He’s supposed to be all about being a gangster … that’s not a gangster, that’s a coward.”
The blaze was deemed suspicious by authorities in Dix Hills, though cops had no suspects.

  1. [...] Speaking of fire: the house where 50Cent’s baby-mama and shorty live burned to the ground. Curiously, Fifty and Baby-mama fought bitterly about the place earlier this week. [The Real Estate Bloggers] [...]

  2. What else suspicious is the reported price that was paid for this home. Much more than anything else in the area – yet clad in vinyl siding.

I guess I’m the only one who finds that odd….

  3. I think the vinyl siding thing is awfully odd too! As soon as I looked at that picture I thought they want how much for that? $2.4 million is crazy!

  4. I agree. I thought the vinyl siding was kind of peculiar.
