Keeping up with the trends in foreclosures is almost easy these days. You will know that Nevada, California, Arizona, and Florida will be in the dubious leadership roles in this category, and they were again for August, 2008.
It is so bad in Nevada that they have more than 1 percent of the homes in the state in foreclosure. That is 5 times the level of 6th place Georgia.
So if you are fearful your subdivision is going to be overtaken by foreclosures and you do not live in the 4 worst states, don’t get to upset. It is not that bad for the rest of the country.

Even though Nevada is #1, the Las Vegas Real Estate Market had 7 straight months of increased home sales because prices are so low due to the increased inventory of foreclosures.
