100 $20,000 Grants Available For Homeowners in Chicago

Partnership for New Communities, non profit in the Chicago region is offering a pretty special deal. If you buy a home in a mixed income part of Chicago for under $450,000 you may be eligible to receive a $20,000 grant.
There are some catches and the $20,000 amount is only available between the 13th and 19th of December so you need to act fast. But if you are closing then or have a client that is and fits the criteria, this is one heck of a Christmas present.
There is a normal grant to motivate homeowners of $10,000 that the Partnership for New Communities awards so keep it on your radar in Chicago. On their website they say the fund has a total of ten million dollars.
Home-shoppers looking to buy a new or rehabbed single-family homes, a town house or a condo in a mixed-income neighborhood can get a $20,000 grant through the Partnership for New Communities organization.
The nonprofit group is offering the grants (you don’t have to pay it back) from Dec. 13-19. There are no income eligibility requirements for the special incentive. However, the homes must be priced at under $450,000 at participating developments. One hundred grants are available. via SearchChicago Homes
