Bob Shiller and I founded MacroMarkets to help with the risk management of large and important asset classes like housing. While Bob along with Karl Case developed the Case-Shiller indexes they no longer have a role in their calculation. The indexes are calculated by Fiserv, Inc. and published by Standard and Poors hence removing any conflict of interest. Thanks again for your review of our products.
