Michael Phelps Buys 1.69 Million Dollar Baltimore Condo

Michael-phelps-condoGold medal winning swimmer Michael Phelps has taken the plunge and purchased a condo in Baltimore, Maryland. The price tag for Phelp’s home comes in at a cool 1.69 million dollars but he is getting his money’s worth. The condo is a reported 4,020 square feet overlooking the Baltimore harbor.

According to TMZ.com the condo has:

His new pad is 4,080 sq. ft. (check out the model in the photos). The complex has a rooftop terrace, a private screening room, a state of the art gym, a clubhouse with pool tables.

If you think that the Olympics are an amateur competition think again. The benefit of all of the sponsorship opportunities for Phelps is reported to be 3–5 million for just this year.

Got to love sponsorship. I remember when Mike was a kid playing in Rodgers Forge. I guess i'm old. I am glad to see that he is going well.
