Busy Day, Lots Of Christmas and Karate

by Tom Royce on December 16, 2007

We had a busy day with lots of Christmas, hockey practices, and our local Karate schools Extravaganza. Both boys graduated to the next level of belts but the marketing of it is amazing.

A week before Christmas they combined the graduation of 3 schools and attracted over 2,000 spectators and another 500–700 kids who got their next belt for a day of family fun and demonstrations. Talk about a way to grow your business. How many of you in this slow period have thought about a way to entertain and give something back to the community to raise your brand awareness?

Here is the head instructor of our local school, Joe Ramos, flying over 8 students and another instructor AND breaking a board on the other side. How many people will be talking about the school and how many new sign ups do you expect during the first week of January…
