Martha Stewart and KB Homes to Build 2nd Atlanta Community

by Tom Royce on November 13, 2006

The success of the 1st Martha Stewart community in Atlanta has motivated the diva and KB homes to build a second in the suburban community of Cherokee County in the northwest part of the Atlanta region.

It is interesting the homage that is accorded to Martha Stewart, but I have to ask 1 horrible question. How many guy points are lost for the guys who buy into the community. I think I would pay money not to say I live in a Martha Stewart community.

Los Angeles-based KB Home and New York-based Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia Inc. jointly announced they will build KB Home Wynchase, a community in Woodstock, Ga. The community will open in spring 2007 with 183 houses ranging from 2,700 square feet to 3,800 square feet. Prices will start in the high $200,000s.
