If you are reading this odds are you know that there are new tools to communicate with potential clients coming out on the internet daily. And if you are planning on marketing to Generation Y buyers and sellers, you will need to start using these tools.
The 20 somethings are just entering the real estate market, but they soon will be an active component of the sales on starter homes. If this is a market you work in it makes sense to learn the tools that are available.

“This younger generation is so technology-savvy,” Teplitzky says, “and because of that, they are changing the way real estate is being marketed and how brokers must use technology to successfully get to this group. This demographic is so important.”

"If you want to penetrate this market you need to play in their sandbox." SO TRUE. Gen Y are looking for people who can identify with the things they're into, and conecting to and using 2.0 resources/toys like Twitter, Online ocial Networks, etc. will become more than just an edge in the near future. It'll be CRUCIAL.
