You would think it would not be a time of celebration, wouldn’t you?
Or did we just get fleeced?
The grins on these politicians make me think that we sure did. As Michael Silence says, Pathetic.
Update: Maybe this is why they are smiling so much, CNet did the analysis and they have the press convinced that is only 700 billion, but in reality it is 1.8 TRILLION DOLLARS. Check this out.

Having not read the 400+ pages of this bill (just like most of the members who voted for it) I hope for the best… but fear it was the wrong plan that was more reactionary than anything.
Worse yet, the same people who presided over this mess now deem themselves to be the saviors who shall preside over the plan to fix everything.
I will hold back further comment until I get a better understanding.
We got fleeced indeed. Pork…the other white meat. It's disgusting that they cant even make a clean bill for exactly what the problems are without earmarking things for racetracks, and provisions that will aid the manufacturers of "certain wooden arrows designed for use by children." What the heck is going on?
Even though I don't like the fact that the bill passed, I'm not sure that there was a better option?
What a bunch of crooks. We are at a tipping point for our economy and our country and our elected officials can help themselves from throwing an extra $150B onto the bill. Disgusting.
Well, it's March 2010 and I have not seen much of a change in the economy in <a>Indianapolis, Indiana. Maybe cutting taxes so that small business owners like me could hire more people would have been a better boost to the economy.
