Oliver Hooper, who posed as a home buyer and then raped a 19 year old, is appealing his consecutive 50 to 100 year sentences. This animal says there was not enough evidence to convict him.
When doing an open house, take precautions, please. And try to have someone with you when you are showing a property, or your own home. It may seem like an inconvienance, but as we have seen recently with Sarah Anne Walker, preditors think this is an easy target. Now with the media getting the story out as much as it has, copycat crimes may follow.
35-year-old Oliver Hooper, who’s from Gorham, was convicted in May of raping a 19-year-old Dover, New Hampshire woman in her home after posing as a potential home buyer.
The appeal argues there was no DNA, blood, hair or other tissue evidence connecting Hooper to the woman, and that there was evidence of contact from another person that was not introduced at trial.
Hooper is serving a 50 to 100 year sentence in state prison. via WCSH6.com

i hear they're planning for a release as soon as the victim gets her sense of security and well-being back.
Oliver isn't scheduled for a release until 2056
I was just on the Department of Correction's website and I see that his "minimum" is 4/2/16. Hopefully, the courts will be smart enough and keep him locked up until his children are at least 18 and 21 would be better.
