They Do Not Get More Stigmatized Than This

by Tom Royce on October 22, 2006

NicoleSimpsonThe condo where Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman were murdered in the celebrated OJ Simpson Murder case is up for sale again. The property is on the market for 1.7 million dollars, the average in the area for homes that are half the size. Stigmatized properties are ones where something awful has happened previously. The combination of the murder, media coverage, and noteriety of this being one of the most famous unsolved crimes in recent history makes this condo the queen of stigmatized properties.

“It was an incredible buy based on square footage and selling prices of comparable units in the area,” said Cecelia Waeschle of Sotheby’s International Realty, Malibu. She tracks home sales on the Westside.

Nicole_simpson_condoThe 3,700-square-foot unit was for sale for two years after Simpson and Goldman were slain outside, near the front door. Then the condo sold for $590,000, $200,000 less than the asking price. The address was changed, and the property, built in 1991, was remodeled.

The contemporary town home was described in the Multiple Listing Service as “stylish and elegant” with four bedrooms, 3 1/2 bathrooms, high ceilings and open spaces.  via the  Los Angeles Times.

I think the DECENT thing would have been for the $-minded LA Real Estate people to Raze the property TO THE GROUND,Open up the yard TO THE SUN; and THEN rebuild, IF they had to..ANY inside remodeling they do to it won’t take the Evil STENCH off those grounds..(The only other way would be for O.J, to get hit by a bus ASAP, but I DOUBT we can get THAT lucky!)

There are only a few select methods which deal appropriately with a stigmatized property of this magnitude. Though be assured that there exist many others, though not involving such pricy Real Estate, which have much more attributed bloodshed and misery.

The property in question, as does any property plagued by such history, requires that proper communication with its "inhabitants" be first established where then peace and balance may then be restored provided those involved in such an undertaking be legitimate.

For if they are not then much harm may later result against any "living" inhabitant of the property.

Unfortunately due to the present level of wannabes in the paranormal field it is necessary that anyone seeking such services take they're time and conduct a thorough background research and references on any individual or group they may select.
