Trump Starts Work on Senior Community in Westchester, New York

Go_TRUMPIn looking to the future, Donald Trump has started work on his first senior development. The 141 unit set to be built in Westchester County, New York will be an upscale community for those 55 years and older. With the baby boom starting to near the retirement age, Trump himself is now 60, the need for this housing is going to increase rapidly.

Megamogul Donald Trump is taking his cue from the candles on his own birthday cake.
After turning 60 this summer, he’s selling condos for the senior set.
His first development for the 55-and-over crowd is a four-story, $112 million luxury building in Yorktown in Westchester County. It’s called – no surprises here – Trump Park Residences.
To own an apartment in the tony 141-unit complex – on 50 acres overlooking a lake – at least one of the buyers must be 55 or older.
The “Apprentice” star isn’t alone in hitting the big 6-0. Both President Bush and former President Bill Clinton celebrated their 60th birthdays this summer, too.
And every seven seconds, another baby boomer turns 60. via the New York Daily News
