“Blogging is a great fit for real estate since agents can do it all on their own and give people a feel for the area, you can be a resource for people who want to read info on the town,” said Lexi Cerretti, a Realtor with Chase International. via the North Lake Tahoe Bonanza
An interesting article on real estate blogging from a local paper. Very often bloggers get caught in the fish bowl and fail to see how the outside world see’s us. It is good to see this perspective.
Also, if you are a blogger why not contact your local paper and see if they are interested doing an article on blogging in real estate. This is the slow season for them too.

Tommy,
I have tried to contact the Independent Journal (Gannet) and clue them in on blog networks, Pat Kitano’s posit and reality reshaping brokerages in 2008, and blogging in general. I even have appeared at two speaking events featuring IJ journalists and my words fell on deaf ears.
The funny reality is that this tiny hyper local newspaper is shrinking in size and readership while quickly incorporating blogs into their reporting.
I completely agree the blogs can be used as tools to gain more customers by getting your name out there along with providing them with useful information in their area. A well written blog can benefit your clients immensely especially in the Real Estate field. Customers rely on Realtors and Agents to provide credible and beneficial data for their surrounding and desired areas. With the digital aspects of our society I feel having a blog is staying ahead of the curve and providing important information to the world.

I had been reading a few of the articles right here but everyone provide great information and I needed to leave just a little remark to support a person as well as wish you a good continuation. Wishing you the best of luck for those your own blogging efforts.I truly appreciate the time you absorbed writing this article.
