Households with a net worth of over 1 million dollars have increased by 5 percent since last year according to a report released by TNS Global’s annual Affluent Market Research Program this week. The increase pails in comparison when the number jumped in 2004 as real estate appreciation was nearing its peak.
The average net worth of millionaire households was 2.5 million with the median age of the head of the household being 59.
