Fizber is a new site that marries For Sale By Owner listings with an exciting array of web technologies that make it very easy for buyers to find their future homes. The foundation for Fizber is a traditional real estate sales site for FSBO’s. They provide low cost listings with a menu of related services ranging from the bare bones online listing to a full inclusion in the MLS. What makes Fizber stand out is the packaging and that is why I accepted this paid review from ReviewMe.
Most of the real estate websites on the market have their roots in the first wave of web design, Web 1.0. They are very static and to be honest tend to look dated. Fizber has the benefit of incorporating some of the best of Web 2.0 to provide a very effective tool for listing a home if you want to avoid using a Realtor.
Here is an example of a Fizber listing:

The Fizbar listing has many components besides the typical bedrooms, bathrooms, and description of the home. The map ties in with google map so you can find out where the home really is (The nice neighborhood and not the bad part of town). Neighborhood provides fairly deep demographic data on the community. Climate is self expanatory with temperature data compared to national information. Value trends pulls from Trulia on home sale data since the turn of the century.
My favorite is Drive Score though. It finds on the map where key businesses that you would like to use are and how close to the home. This is great for those looking to buy in the suburbs as it provides a sense of what is available. When buying a home this is one of the overlooked issues for buyers. With our busy world the ability to have your shopping and schools close by is a huge time saver.

If you are looking to buy a FSBO listing package with Fizber your choices run from a basic plan for 89.95 a month or 249.95 till the home sells. Their is a featured until sold upgrade that comes with signage and brochures for $599.95. For those looking to get a premium listing that includes inclusion in the local MLS, you can get it for $799.95.
All of these Fizber packages include listings on other 30 real estate websites and the premium packages have an additional 50 sites they submit to and include yard signs . All of the packages also have the ability to have a weblog for the site to help both search engine optimization and educating professional buyers.
For me, Fizber is an exciting site. They are blurring the lines of what a FSBO listing site typically is and the benefits of a low service brokerage. They offer a collection of referrals to experts in all of the professional services needed to close a home and their online presentation is superior to anything that the big real estate brokerages offer. Since 80 percent of all searches are originating online I can see Fizber being successful for those who do not want to use the traditional real estate agent.

Nice review. I like the direction the web a real estate advertising is going, I think it is putting more and more power into the consumer's hands, while giving the sellers more medians to advertise on that are less expensive.
Great review packed with valuable information for consumers and owners.
I bet the "Drive Score" would either start smoking or blow up if we input my address. The Bay Area is brutal these days.
We have thoroughly looked at fizbar.com and they do seem to have a decent product for clients that decide to sell their own homes. Actually it’s a brilliant idea and perfect avenue.
Helping consumers to capitalize, using the best of web technology…….nice review and kool site to check out for a dream home.
