The Washington DC area, where I'm a real estate broker, is a great place for beating the recession: the Federal government always spends.
Its amazing how well Texas is weathering the storm and the McAllen Mission area is in for another boost to their growth when this new bridge to mexico is finally completed. There are over 8 bridges and every morning each one is packed with traffic going both ways. Its awesome for industry in the area.
